Gremio is proud to announce that five of its athletes have been called up to the U-15 Brazilian Women's National Team. The players Mavi Engelmann, Helena, Thiffy, Ingridy, and Mavi Pereira were selected by coach Beatriz Vaz e Silva to participate in training sessions taking place from June 17 to 23 at Granja Comary in Rio de Janeiro. This is a great opportunity for the young talents of the club to showcase their potential on a national stage. Mavi and Thiffy had previously been called up, participating in training in February in Balneário Camboriú-SC. Both began their journeys at Gremio through the Gremio School in 2023 and have been part of the club's youth system since last season. Helena, Ingridy, and Mavi Pereira are new to the call-up and also have their roots in the Gremio School, being discovered at a football clinic in 2024. The five athletes played a crucial role in the campaign that led Gremio to the final of the U-15 Gaúcho Championship. The club is in pursuit of a third consecutive state title and will compete in the final in two Grenais, scheduled for July 3 and 11.
