Gremio launched its new home and away uniforms for the 2026 season on Tuesday. The launch marks the beginning of the club's partnership with sports supplier New Balance, after 10 years of being sponsored by Umbro. The collection is inspired by one of the most memorable chapters in the club's history: the triple crown of 1996, when Gremio won the state championship, Brazilian championship, and South American Recopa. Going against tradition, Gremio introduced gradient stripes, reinterpreting the club's classic look with a contemporary twist. The new home uniform debuts this Thursday, against Vitória, at the Arena do Gremio, in a match valid for the 7th round of the Brazilian Championship. But what really stands out is the attention to detail, with a special seal celebrating the 1996 Brazilian championship. So, the “Aura Se Conquista” campaign featured characters from the 1996 Brazilian title: Carlos Miguel, Zé Afonso, and Aílton. From the current squads, male and female, Enamorado, Luis Eduardo, and Tiago participated, as well as Camila Pini and Giovaninha. The internal phrase “Com o Gremio Onde o Gremio Estiver” reinforces the permanent bond between the club and its fans. The away uniform also carries direct references to the victorious trajectory of that historic year, in addition to a design with rectangles in sky blue and white. The jerseys will be available in player and fan versions starting this Wednesday, in New Balance and Gremio's physical and online stores.
